Is Wine 1.0 ready to release..?

“Wine” The Linuxer’s favorite Programs to run Windows program on Linux and Unix platform. After fifteen Years in y\the making finally it’s almost ready for release.Alexandre Julliard, the Wine’s lead Developer said that Wine 1.0 should release in june 20. As Julliard explains, “There are several reasons [it has taken Wine so long to get to this point]: the Windows API is huge, not well documented, and full of tricky behaviors and side effects that applications depend on. It’s also a moving target, as Microsoft keeps adding new features and pushing developers to adopt them (not always successfully, fortunately for us). Also, finding what goes wrong with an application is hard, because we don’t have access to the application source code so we can’t easily see what confuses it.”. At this point there nore than thousand (1.300) Windows Application that will install ands run well in Wine with some condition.
Actually Wine is based on volunteer creation, and like any other programs there always a problem like lacked the resources for extensive quality and assurance testing. This problema is more bigger since  there are so many Windows environments, Windows Applications and Linux distributions.

3 Telltale Signs of Suspicious Downloads That Threaten PC Security

Since its inception, the computer has been such an indispensable tool that almost every human activity depends on it.

From personal tools to commercialized activities, computers had been the primary device that can provide all the necessary items needed to facilitate transactions and services.

Given those facts, many people know the potential profits that can be obtained just by using the computers. With the advent of the Internet, earning money seems so easy.

For this reason, the need for an optimum PC security is essential. No other tool can safeguard your PC’s health as well as your identity more than what PC security tools can do for you.

PC security is a method of safeguarding your computer from any potential harm that malicious programs can do. These programs are silently installed onto your computer system, thereby, allowing “intruders” to access information or any part of your computer system.

However, these intruders may not have the power to break in to your system if you have not given them the right to do so.

Of course, you have not given them the right to break in to your computer system. However, your activities on the Internet can tell the difference.

Keep in mind that the Internet is a jungle full of wild animals waiting for their victims. If you are not so much concerned about your PC’s health, you may be downloading suspicious downloads that threaten PC security.

These suspicious downloads can interfere with your PC’s performance, wreck havoc on your computer system, such as modifying your data, or identify your Internet activity and access on all information that will reveal your identity.

To help you thwart suspicious downloads that threaten PC security, be on the look out for these indicators:

1. Innumerable pop up advertisements

If you are trying to download something from a particular website and you have suddenly been attacked with numerous pop up ads (usually not lower than 10), it is best not to continue downloading the file. Chances are, these files can be classified as spyware, malaware, or Trojan horses.

2. Missing EULA

Suspicious downloads could mean missing EULA or end-user license agreement. However, some suspicious downloads may use EULA to disclose their intentions. Hence, it is still best to read EULA because you will never know what you will get.

3. Bogus freebies

If you think certain freebies are too good enough to be true, they probably are. They are often included in suspicious downloads that threaten PC security.

So the best way to avoid these suspicious downloads is to get all the information that you needed. Keep in mind that an informed decision is always the smartest one.
